After having played for 3 minutes, Öztürk Arıbaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agri JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Öztürk Arıbaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes of play, Frankfurt 1976's Ronald Vordenbäumen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vefa İlmi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Agri JK defense, Ronald Vordenbäumen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vefa İlmi. The Agri JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vefa İlmi should have stopped the shot. Benito Guerrero's late challenge caught a Agri JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Agri JK booed when Frankfurt 1976 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Ronald Vordenbäumen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vefa İlmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronald Vordenbäumen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Vefa İlmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vefa İlmi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Leon went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Barlas Talik took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vefa İlmi. Vefa İlmi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The Agri JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frankfurt 1976 were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gürol Artan was the one to do the kick off. Ronald Vordenbäumen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vefa İlmi having to interfere. Quinton Alcantara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Öztürk Arıbaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barlas Talik got free with Vefa İlmi in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Godfredo Cacheres kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Barlas Talik had several of the Agri JK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Vefa İlmi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Frankfurt 1976's Ernesto Nobo was substituted for Benito Guerrero. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Nobo during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
