An unexpectedly hard shot by Gumersindo Mala in the 5th minute of play forced Caherlea FC's goalkeeper Lou McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliverios Griego scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lou McJohnny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 minutes, Xabel Dobale made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Caherlea FC's Lou McJohnny tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverios Griego in the 17th minute of play forced Caherlea FC's goalkeeper Lou McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Caherlea FC got a freekick which was hit by Jack Cooney. After a defensive mix-up in Caherlea FC's zone, Galindo Bacete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lou McJohnny came out of the goal and Galindo Bacete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Raphael Iniesta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lou McJohnny. Caherlea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphael Iniesta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Caherlea FC defense, Xabel Dobale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lou McJohnny. The Caherlea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lou McJohnny should have stopped the shot. Caherlea FC's Lou McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabel Dobale in the 31st minute of play. Royan McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Caherlea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gumersindo Mala came free, but Lou McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Huevones fc's Oliverios Griego nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lou McJohnny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Toran Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Caherlea FC's Lou McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabel Dobale in the 44th minute of play. Anton Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Benson in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lou McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliverios Griego in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Caherlea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gumersindo Mala came free, but Lou McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Caherlea FC booed when Huevones fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliverios Griego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lou McJohnny was a little too slow when Raphael Iniesta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-6. Lou McJohnny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Iniesta in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Huevones fc's Xabel Dobale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lou McJohnny. That made the score 1-7 after 71 minutes of play. Huevones fc's Anton Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyd Benson in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caherlea FC's Banbhan McLian got a free kick in the 81st minute. Caherlea FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Gumersindo Mala scored to the left of an out of position Lou McJohnny, making the score, 1-8. In the 87th minute of the match, Xabel Dobale got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lou McJohnny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Quirk Duggan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Gumersindo Mala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huevones fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
