Buğrahan Erokay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Buğrahan Erokay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barlas Talik in the 28th minute of the match. Barlas Talik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulaş Hacıfettahoğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Loid Gijsbrechts. That made the score 1-3 in the 31 minute of play. The Frankfurt 1976 fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Frankfurt 1976's Ernesto Leon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ernesto Leon succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. 45 minutes into the match, Frankfurt 1976's goal looked a bit too open when Ulaş Hacıfettahoğlu came free, but Loid Gijsbrechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aziz Asutay during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frankfurt 1976's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benito Guerrero in the 61st minute. With his leg Buğrahan Erokay managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Frankfurt 1976's Barlas Talik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Buğrahan Erokay was a little too slow when Ernesto Leon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-6. Ernesto Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buğrahan Erokay having to interfere. After 75th play minutes Barlas Talik shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Buğrahan Erokay and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 81st minute Ulaş Hacıfettahoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loid Gijsbrechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ernesto Leon came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Frankfurt 1976 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Leon couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Frankfurt 1976 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Savastepe throughout the match.
