The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atilano Nuñez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Argenis Toledo 4 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Real Club Fuengirola's goalkeeper Argenis Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Nuñez. Argenis Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Club Fuengirola's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matias Erasto was slow to take the kick. During this time Lamalapri FC's players had a chance to rest. Ismael Baldovino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Ismael Baldovino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argenis Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Nuñez in the 19th minute of play forced Real Club Fuengirola's goalkeeper Argenis Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enaut Vagrande in the 20th minute of the match. Argenis Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Baldovino's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Arnaldo Gau hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Lamalapri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enaut Vagrande came free, but Severo Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ismael Baldovino took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Argenis Toledo to make any attempt to save it. 39 minutes into the match, Real Club Fuengirola's Aya Vera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severo Maura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Argenis Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Nuñez in the 41st minute. After 45 minutes, Florentino Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Club Fuengirola and the Lamalapri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Real Club Fuengirola getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Florentino Silva hit a great ball. Ismael Baldovino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Severo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aya Vera in the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Baldovino in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Argenis Toledo saved Real Club Fuengirola from getting behind. Lamalapri FC's Severo Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aya Vera in the 61st minute of play. If Ismael Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Ismael Baldovino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Club Fuengirola's Argenis Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Baldovino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Maura made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ospin Belalcaraz sent off a good shot on target. Enaut Vagrande charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enaut Vagrande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lamalapri FC booed when Real Club Fuengirola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enaut Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Manolo Salan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enaut Vagrande kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Real Club Fuengirola's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Indalecio came free, but Argenis Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Lamalapri FC were the better team. Lamalapri FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
