The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gürol Artan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sixto Magdaleno fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ismiango AFC's protests and gave Sixto Magdaleno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Ismiango AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Gürol Artan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Beltza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vefa İlmi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Maties's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Mario Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Ismiango AFC's goalkeeper Amancio Beltza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Öztürk Arıbaş. In the 23rd minute, Mario Maties ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vefa İlmi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 26th minute, Gürol Artan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Mario Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vefa İlmi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Cordarrol's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Ismiango AFC's Amancio Beltza got control of the ball when Öztürk Arıbaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amancio Beltza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Öztürk Arıbaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Gürol Artan rounded Ismiango AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Enginsu Delioğlu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ismiango AFC's Eusebio Ramirez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Agri JK. After 51 played minutes Ismiango AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Bittor. 52 minutes into the match, Agri JK's Necat Mübarek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Beltza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ismiango AFC defense, Gürol Artan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Beltza. The Ismiango AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Beltza should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Agri JK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aysan Tamerk hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Ismiango AFC's Apolo Cordarrol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vefa İlmi. Vefa İlmi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Cayetano Abarca, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Agri JK fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Agri JK's Gürol Artan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Öztürk Arıbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enginsu Delioğlu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Öztürk Arıbaş struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Amancio Beltza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agri JK. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Agri JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ismiango AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
