The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Marcelo Erramu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Pontes should have stopped the shot. Betão Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heintje Passos's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Celso Isadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Betão Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Isadore made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raphael Berger however managed to control. 14 minutes into the game, Nahitantino's Heintje Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Che in the 18th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betão Pontes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nahitantino's Heintje Passos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heintje Passos in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heintje Passos in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute Angelino Che shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Fudalej in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Cezary Kasiewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 minutes, Cezary Kasiewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Katowice and the Nahitantino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cezary Kasiewski hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Angelino Che struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Betão Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nahitantino. GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra was substituted for Ludomir Zacharek. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Isadore. After having played for 63 minutes, Heintje Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nahitantino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heintje Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Nahitantino's Heintje Passos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 69th minute, Heintje Passos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Radomir Fudalej succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 73rd playminute. Nahitantino's Generoso Rivero was substituted for Celso Isadore. With a little luck, GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes got control of the ball when Esteban Salvator tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Lucjan Werra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Salvator received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Betão Pontes came out and tried to block the shot, but Esteban Salvator slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 82nd minute. If Esteban Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Werra in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st play minute Raphael Berger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Betão Pontes. 0-8. Konrad Komanski's late challenge caught a Nahitantino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konrad Komanski helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Nahitantino's Marcelo Erramu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Fudalej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the game, Generoso Rivero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Betão Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Nahitantino players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
