Betão Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13thth minute of the game Neymar Hulk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Komanski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Campello in the 16th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Neymar Hulk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betão Pontes. GKS Katowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neymar Hulk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neymar Hulk in the 34th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Jaszynski to maneuver through the defense. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaare Strassmann in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Zacharek got free with Levani Peru in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Levani Peru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cezary Kasiewski went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Macho Oprișor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Pontes should have stopped the shot. Romulo Campello, 50 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Neymar Hulk made a kick off. In the 55th minute Neymar Hulk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neymar Hulk in the 57th minute of play. Cezary Kasiewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Levani Peru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaare Strassmann in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Neymar Hulk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SinháCity FC booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Kasiewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cezary Kasiewski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Neymar Hulk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão Pontes was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Katowice's zone, Neymar Hulk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Pontes came out of the goal and Neymar Hulk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Neymar Hulk sped through GKS Katowice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neymar Hulk's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute SinháCity FC were awarded a corner. Romulo Campello went to the cornerflag to take it. 乔军勇 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Betão Pontes made a huge save. Remigiusz Jaszynski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Neymar Hulk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Betão Pontes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
