The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Algirdas Gesaitis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Barhan Barrett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Algirdas Gesaitis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Algirdas Gesaitis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mantvydas Žalnerauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Deery having to interfere. If Mantvydas Žalnerauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Algirdas Gesaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearse McNamee in the 35th minute of the match. Klemensas Rožėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Klemensas Rožėnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bryan Deery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundas Ulys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Deery having to interfere. In the 46th minute Linas Mandraflis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Deery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barhan Barrett was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Virgil Saule hit a great ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Barhan Barrett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pegasas Siauliai's Algirdas Gesaitis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bryan Deery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundas Ulys in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Dugan Callaghan came free, but Algirdas Gesaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Beccan McPaul managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1948 MKS's supporters rose to their feet, but Beccan McPaul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algirdas Gesaitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klemensas Rožėnas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, FC Pegasas Siauliai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vėjas Maldini to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barhan Barrett in the 68th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Algirdas Gesaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mantvydas Žalnerauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pearse McNamee hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Bryan Deery made an important save on a dangerous shot by Linas Mandraflis in the 86th minute. Algirdas Gesaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pearse McNamee in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Klemensas Rožėnas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
