In the 33rd minute of the match Alif Rahardjo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hatta Arnawa skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute Adnan Garnita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatta Arnawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Yoppie Duaramuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iie Tutuarima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bandung Tigers's Hatta Arnawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noce Jeliteng in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes Polosiri got a freekick which was hit by Eri Sungkono. In the 53rd minute Yoppie Duaramuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iie Tutuarima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bandung Tigers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jem Butt in the 55th minute. Bandung Tigers's Jem Butt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iie Tutuarima in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hatta Arnawa was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Eri Sungkono capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eri Sungkono really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Iie Tutuarima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoppie Duaramuri in the 62nd minute of the match. Yoppie Duaramuri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iie Tutuarima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Bandung Tigers's Hatta Arnawa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Bandung Tigers from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Polosiri were awarded a corner. Adnan Garnita went to the cornerflag to take it. Adnan Garnita made a great header on Polosiri's corner, it was just that Bandung Tigers's Hatta Arnawa managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yoppie Duaramuri in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iie Tutuarima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Yoppie Duaramuri sped through Polosiri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iie Tutuarima. The crowd rose to their feet as Polosiri's Eri Sungkono slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hatta Arnawa. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. Iie Tutuarima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yoppie Duaramuri's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Bandung Tigers were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Polosiri's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jem Butt took the corner. When the final whistle sounded Polosiri left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bandung Tigers.
