In the 10th minute of the match 9 Lurah got a corner. PHOENIX SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herbert Wozniak ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Kader Bekas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 18 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rüknettin Toygar. 9 Lurah were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after PHOENIX SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Herbert Wozniak took the corner. 9 Lurah's Cahya Latuconsina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Hendrickx in the 22nd minute of play. Ray Clemence made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rüknettin Toygar in the 23rd minute. Cahya Latuconsina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holin Probohudono in the 26th minute of play. PHOENIX SC were furious when Sun Chao Mo was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PHOENIX SC! PHOENIX SC:s Ray Clemence showed great skill when he stopped Rüknettin Toygar:s penalty. In the 30th minute Holin Probohudono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cahya Latuconsina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, 9 Lurah's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Hendrickx came free, but Cahya Latuconsina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rüknettin Toygar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rüknettin Toygar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Rüknettin Toygar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rüknettin Toygar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ray Clemence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match 9 Lurah got a corner. PHOENIX SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herbert Wozniak ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Herbert Wozniak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence did a great save. Dadá D Agostino hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Cahya Latuconsina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holin Probohudono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lilcho Ilchov kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 9 Lurah made a substitution. Hadi Zamani replaced Rüknettin Toygar. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX SC's Lilcho Ilchov got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alwi Suminta in the 82nd minute of the match. Cahya Latuconsina made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Frederico Hendrickx sent off a good shot on target. Ray Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hadi Zamani, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 9 Lurah's Cahya Latuconsina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Hendrickx in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, PHOENIX SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Hendrickx to maneuver through the defense. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hadi Zamani in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
