Yoppie Duaramuri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iie Tutuarima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoppie Duaramuri in the 15th minute of play forced Polosiri's goalkeeper Iie Tutuarima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Yoppie Duaramuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iie Tutuarima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Yoppie Duaramuri made a precise shot to the right of Iie Tutuarima. Polosiri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Yoppie Duaramuri might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iie Tutuarima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yoppie Duaramuri ran back to his position shaking his head. Iie Tutuarima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoppie Duaramuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iie Tutuarima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoppie Duaramuri in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polosiri's goalkeeper Iie Tutuarima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eri Sungkono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hatta Arnawa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Donald Kosasih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatta Arnawa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Maximilian-Michael Vennegoor Of Hesselink got a free kick in the 34th minute. Hatta Arnawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eri Sungkono, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Yoppie Duaramuri scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iie Tutuarima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Polosiri's Alif Sudarman got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eri Sungkono made a kick off. A collision led to Polosiri getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adnan Garnita hit a great ball. Yoppie Duaramuri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Iie Tutuarima made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Maximilian-Michael Vennegoor Of Hesselink got a free kick in the 58th minute. Iie Tutuarima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoppie Duaramuri in the 63rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Radja Yarangga in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bandung Tigers's Markus Husodo. Radja Yarangga made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bandung Tigers's Boy Hermawan. In the 71st minute Donald Kosasih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatta Arnawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Markus Husodo got a free kick in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Polosiri's Eri Sungkono sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hatta Arnawa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Bandung Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Yoppie Duaramuri. Alif Sudarman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Hatta Arnawa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hatta Arnawa came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Polosiri's Eri Sungkono. But to his dismay, Eri Sungkono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bandung Tigers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
