The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes PHOENIX SC got a freekick which was hit by Lilcho Ilchov. 12 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rüknettin Toygar came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, 9 Lurah's goalkeeper Cahya Latuconsina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lilcho Ilchov. In the 18th minute 9 Lurah were awarded a corner. Herbert Wozniak went to the cornerflag to take it. 9 Lurah's Herbert Wozniak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ray Clemence in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Frederico Hendrickx came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the PHOENIX SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Hendrickx couldn't finish the play. Samai Asmawan's late challenge caught a 9 Lurah's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samai Asmawan helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes PHOENIX SC got a freekick which was hit by Samai Asmawan. PHOENIX SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Phoenix Kante in the 34th minute. Vural Nazım tried in the 34th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Cahya Latuconsina a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Rüknettin Toygar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ray Clemence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes PHOENIX SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herbert Wozniak who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on 9 Lurah's corner Herbert Wozniak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ray Clemence quite easily take care of the ball. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüknettin Toygar in the 43rd minute of the match. 9 Lurah's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herbert Wozniak in the 44th minute. The corner ended in Alwi Suminta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence did a great save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rüknettin Toygar to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Rüknettin Toygar put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ray Clemence. PHOENIX SC's Aryeh Markovich was substituted for Lilcho Ilchov. PHOENIX SC's Ronan McCunn was substituted for Samai Asmawan. Cahya Latuconsina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Cahya Latuconsina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Hendrickx in the 83rd minute of the match. Cahya Latuconsina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Vural Nazım kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to 9 Lurah getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Karl Hedlund hit a great ball.
