Umberto Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Seco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Carioca. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Lima came free, but Agostinho Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Lima in the 15th minute of play forced IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goalkeeper Agostinho Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agostinho Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nestor Carioca made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Sandrinho Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. After 24 minutes, Tony Seco made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Grandi in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Carioca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32ndth minute of the game Sérgio Grandi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Tony Seco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor Carioca. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. Agostinho Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sultan De Inierry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Carioca having to interfere. If Guga Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sultan De Inierry in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Grandi came free, but Nestor Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agostinho Santana. Luiz Fábio Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. made a substitution. Pelle Kvick replaced Sandrinho Gaspar. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Isaltino Esteves was substituted for Lucas Donatello. Nestor Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Grandi in the 71st minute of the match. Tony Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Messias to maneuver through the defense. Tony Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Carioca having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Remo Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Kvick in the 85th minute of the match. Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Esteves in the 88th minute of play. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Agostinho Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Lima in the 93rd minute of play. Angelo Cabral was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Barrenta SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
