After 5 played minutes Juventus Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Roman Furgal. With a little luck, Juventus Football Club's Michele Di Gregorio got control of the ball when Harald Delb tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Douglas Luis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FV Wienerwald's Klaus-Dieter Beimel. Klaus-Dieter Beimel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Kölblinger in the 22nd minute of play forced Juventus Football Club's goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Juventus Football Club's Witalis Kociniewski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klaus-Dieter Beimel was left in no man's land by his defense there! A nice corner shot did that Ole Michalowicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michele Di Gregorio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 33rd minute Jan Maurycy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus-Dieter Beimel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Erik Janžovnik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Football Club and the FV Wienerwald players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Erik Janžovnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Patrik Kölblinger came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FV Wienerwald fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Kölblinger couldn't finish the play. FV Wienerwald's Klaus-Dieter Beimel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Luis in the 43rd minute of play.

The wind increased when Witalis Kociniewski made the kick off in the second half. Juventus Football Club's Michele Di Gregorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Delb in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Jo Jani got a free kick in the 56th minute. Michele Di Gregorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Delb in the 60th minute of play. Michele Di Gregorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole Michalowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Michele Di Gregorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FV Wienerwald. FV Wienerwald's Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Harald Delb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Arkadiusz Cichocki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Football Club and the FV Wienerwald players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Juventus Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Cichocki. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Stephan-Andreas Schumacher replaced Jan-Erik Gleissner. A collision led to Juventus Football Club getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Arkadiusz Cichocki hit a great ball. Klaus-Dieter Beimel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Luis in the 82nd minute. Michele Di Gregorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Delb, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Lipinski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FV Wienerwald the free kick. After 85 played minutes Juventus Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Lipinski. In the 86th minute, Erich Otten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FV Wienerwald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 90 minutes into the game, Erich Otten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Michele Di Gregorio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Football Club's zone, Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michele Di Gregorio came out of the goal and Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. FV Wienerwald's Harald Delb started the play with the initial kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harald Delb got free with Michele Di Gregorio in the 110th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klaus-Dieter Beimel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Kociniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 111th minute. A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 111 minutes play. Nickolas Kaiser hit a great ball. In the 114th minute, Erich Otten fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Michele Di Gregorio, passed just outside the right post. The FV Wienerwald players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Witalis Kociniewski took the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erich Otten during the 118th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Juventus Football Club booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 118 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erich Otten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylwester Walentowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 121st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Klaus-Dieter Beimel having to make a save. After having played for 124 minutes, Douglas Luis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Luis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 128th minute, Boleslaw Lipinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witalis Kociniewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klaus-Dieter Beimel came out and tried to block the shot, but Witalis Kociniewski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 130th minute.
