Giles Lanen came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fura Balizas's Alexandre Pires. But to his dismay, Alexandre Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kevin Damásio hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, FC Draconia's Kraig McAlphie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maoz Ferro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 12 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Fraga. A collision led to FC Fura Balizas getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Germano Portela hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiago Fraga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giles Lanen. That made the score 2-1 in the 22 minute of play. Maoz Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig McAlphie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Tiago Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giles Lanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maoz Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig McAlphie in the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

FC Fura Balizas's Maoz Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Olemans in the 51st minute of play. Kraig McAlphie did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-2 to the left of a surprised Maoz Ferro 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Tiago Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giles Lanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Cruz Adas replaced Vladimiro Guerreiro. After 71 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Vilela. Richmond Van Hoeyvelt struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Maoz Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Draconia. 74 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Fraga came free, but Giles Lanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Alexandre Pires made a precise shot to the right of Giles Lanen. FC Draconia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. FC Fura Balizas's José Guarda was substituted for Tiago Fraga. 84 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when José Guarda came free, but Giles Lanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, José Guarda notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of FC Draconia's Giles Lanen. Giles Lanen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

FC Draconia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
