Folke Hybbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Joanes in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Joacim Låsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Dodorol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Hybbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to BK Gubbhöft getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Thor Alegren hit a great ball. Folke Hybbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Tono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Firmo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of Defensores de Fasano booed when BK Gubbhöft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Rönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Tobias Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Hybbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Tono came free, but Folke Hybbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Defensores de Fasano got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Batista. A collision led to BK Gubbhöft getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Roy Rönn hit a great ball. Blas Austin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roy Rönn was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes BK Gubbhöft got a freekick which was hit by Roy Rönn. Tobias Tono struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Folke Hybbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Fasano. Eloy Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Hybbert having to interfere. Joacim Låsberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Tono was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, BK Gubbhöft's Joacim Låsberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Austin came free, but Folke Hybbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Blas Austin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Folke Hybbert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ulf Andreasson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match, Alberto Joanes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Folke Hybbert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Folke Hybbert made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alberto Joanes sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores de Fasano's Tobias Tono slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Folke Hybbert. That made the score 0-1 after 91 minutes of play.

Defensores de Fasano played a much better game than BK Gubbhöft and deserved their victory. The BK Gubbhöft players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
