An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Llin in the 3rd minute of play forced THE SAM UNITED's goalkeeper Hocine Sofiane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Zahouania came free, but Gaston Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Llin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Llin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hocine Sofiane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. THE SAM UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Zahouania was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RIVER PLATE FC's Gaston Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save RIVER PLATE FC from getting a goal against them. If Fodil Hanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelkader Toumi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Abderrachid Mehenni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hocine Sofiane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Llin went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 0-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Gualterio Mundo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nicolas Llin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hocine Sofiane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to THE SAM UNITED getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cheb Ulansi hit a great ball. Nicolas Llin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hocine Sofiane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hocine Sofiane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Llin took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hocine Sofiane. Hocine Sofiane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The THE SAM UNITED supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RIVER PLATE FC's performance. The match ended with a win for RIVER PLATE FC.
