Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ken Peers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes, Teo Snijers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wevelgem FC and the Gil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teo Snijers hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Wevelgem FC's Teo Snijers got his second yellow card of the match in the 8th minute. The referee ordered Teo Snijers off the ground. A collision led to Wevelgem FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Teo Snijers hit a great ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Ruperto Salomon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wevelgem FC's Viktor De Baere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luckas Goddez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Gil's Ruperto Salomon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Wevelgem FC's Luckas Goddez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Frederico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Gil defense, Ron Gyselincx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Frederico. The Gil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Frederico should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 33 in the game by Desiderio Tristan from a close distance when the talented Viktor De Baere managed to make a qualified save. Wevelgem FC's players were relieved. 35 minutes into the match, Ruperto Salomon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viktor De Baere, 2-1. Luckas Goddez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavino Frederico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Salomon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Luckas Goddez made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Frederico. Gil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Ruperto Salomon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luckas Goddezs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Gavino Frederico to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Viktor De Baere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desiderio Tristan's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Ron Gyselincx hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ron Gyselincx during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Luckas Goddez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wevelgem FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luckas Goddez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Frederico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Ruperto Salomon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luk Lanfan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Diego De Graef hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Desiderio Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Gil's Gavino Frederico got control of the ball when Luckas Goddez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Wevelgem FC booed when Gil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Wevelgem FC's Remco Van Groenderbeek got a free kick in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
