In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Copacabana's goalkeeper Aquilino Martxelin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Copacabana. Dionisio Quirce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faik Server. 0-1. Hayrettin Yağız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Martxelin having to interfere. Alfredo Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faik Server having to interfere. A collision led to Ivrindi getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Şemsettin Akgün hit a great ball. Faik Server showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Lluterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Julian Opilano fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copacabana's protests and gave Julian Opilano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Copacabana's Julian Opilano got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Ivrindi's Raşit Güdü ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aquilino Martxelin. Aquilino Martxelin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ivrindi's Kutalp Mengüer got a free kick in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Alfredo Lluterio put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Faik Server. Gökay Eralkan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raşit Güdü made a kick off. A collision led to Copacabana getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Roque Thomas hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Braulio Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faik Server saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabit Bektaş kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Hayrettin Yağız struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Aquilino Martxelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ivrindi. Fulgencio Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Copacabana's zone, Hayrettin Yağız stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Martxelin came out of the goal and Hayrettin Yağız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabit Bektaş's late challenge caught a Copacabana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabit Bektaş helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ivrindi getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Sabit Bektaş hit a great ball. Dionisio Quirce was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ivrindi's goalkeeper Faik Server, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raşit Güdü in the 91st minute of play forced Copacabana's goalkeeper Aquilino Martxelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hayrettin Yağız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Martxelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raşit Güdü in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Şemsettin Akgün had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Martxelin. Copacabana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şemsettin Akgün was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Copacabana had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
