The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Llin got free with Anselmo Txurio in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Victoriano Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Gualterio Mundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nicolas Llins short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Anselmo Txurio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, La Culebrita's goalkeeper Anselmo Txurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Llin. Nicolas Llin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Llin might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Txurio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Llin ran back to his position shaking his head. Zacarias Guerrero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anselmo Txurio. La Culebrita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. La Culebrita's Anselmo Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Mendiko in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, La Culebrita's goalkeeper Anselmo Txurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Llin. In the 30th minute, Nicolas Llin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anselmo Txurio. The goal made the score 3-0. Diego Inge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Anselmo Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, La Culebrita's goalkeeper Anselmo Txurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Llin. Cesar Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Nicolas Llin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anselmo Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Eudoxio to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Llin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of La Culebrita booed when RIVER PLATE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Mendiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Donato Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gualterio Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the RIVER PLATE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Mundo couldn't finish the play. Cesar Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Nicolas Llin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Nicolas Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Txurio having to interfere. When Cesar Gar fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Culebrita's protests and gave Cesar Gar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Cesar Gar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Llin in the 63rd minute of play. Anselmo Txurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Anselmo Txurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Llin's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, RIVER PLATE FC's Nicolas Llin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Txurio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Anselmo Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, La Culebrita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. In the 74thth minute of the game Nicolas Llin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Culebrita's Anselmo Txurio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. RIVER PLATE FC made a substitution. Nicasio Franco replaced Natalio Mendiko. The supporters of RIVER PLATE FC booed when La Culebrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Gar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, La Culebrita's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Llin came free, but Anselmo Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Llin in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Txurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Txurio came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER PLATE FC's Gualterio Mundo. But to his dismay, Gualterio Mundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Llin in the 93rd minute of play forced La Culebrita's goalkeeper Anselmo Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RIVER PLATE FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Culebrita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
