Nicanor Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Derwin in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Merexildo in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Mede prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Idacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Mede. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Idacio ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Mede stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Idacio's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Aaron Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Merexildo in the 30th minute of the match. Cristobal Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Norberto Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Mede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Merexildo to make the kick off. Samuel Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Berenguer having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, St. Patrick's goalkeeper Aaron Mede had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Idacio. 61 minutes into the game, Samuel Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nicanor Berenguer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chinguillos AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Berenguer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Samuel Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Chinguillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Teodor came free, but Nicanor Berenguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. St. Patrick's Gavino Victoro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rene Diegotxe, made in the 77th minute of the game. Norberto Merexildo scored 2-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaron Mede, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Chinguillos AFC defense, Samuel Derwin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicanor Berenguer. The Chinguillos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicanor Berenguer should have stopped the shot. A collision led to St. Patrick getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jorge Eufemio hit a great ball. When Chinguillos AFC's Norberto Merexildo in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
