The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barbun Spor's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Raşit Güdü 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 7 played minutes Ivrindi got a freekick which was hit by Kutalp Mengüer. Ergün Kırman charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ergün Kırman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barbun Spor getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ergün Kırman hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Barbun Spor's goalkeeper Peker Kabadayı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gökay Eralkan. Sabit Bektaş kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Ivrindi got a freekick which was hit by Şemsettin Akgün. Serdar İşkembeci kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hayrettin Yağız's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Peker Kabadayı skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Oğuzcan Berat's late challenge caught a Ivrindi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oğuzcan Berat helped the player get up and apologised. Oğuzcan Berat hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Barbun Spor's Peker Kabadayı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Güdü in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Raşit Güdü got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peker Kabadayı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raşit Güdü in the 35th minute of the match. Serdar İşkembeci hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Raşit Güdü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peker Kabadayı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Barbun Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Orhan Tahir to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Orhan Tahir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Barbun Spor getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Serdar İşkembeci hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raşit Güdü to make the kick off. Faik Server was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Necdet Olgunay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 60 minute of play. Peker Kabadayı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raşit Güdü in the 82nd minute of play. Ivrindi's Şemsettin Akgün got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peker Kabadayı came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Ivrindi's Hayrettin Yağız. But to his dismay, Hayrettin Yağız quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Peker Kabadayı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hayrettin Yağız went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Peker Kabadayı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şemsettin Akgün in the 96th minute of the match. Peker Kabadayı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayrettin Yağız, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. There was no doubt that Ivrindi were the better team. Ivrindi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
