Nicanor Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Chinguillos AFC's Nicanor Berenguer got control of the ball when Americo Maiorga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norberto Merexildo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Frederico having to make a save. Gavino Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Idacio in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Chinguillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Senon. In the 25th minute, Ruperto Salomon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicanor Berenguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Marco Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Frederico having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Maiorga got free with Nicanor Berenguer in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Merexildo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Frederico saved Gil from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Americo Maiorga made a precise shot to the right of Nicanor Berenguer. Chinguillos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 47th minute, Edgard Remicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto Merexildo to strike the kick off in the second half. Iker Guilabertus hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Norberto Merexildo in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gavino Frederico, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gavino Frederico made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Marco Idacio sent off a good shot on target. Gil's Gavino Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Merexildo in the 58th minute of play. Norberto Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Frederico having to interfere. Victoriano Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gavino Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Gil got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Garcia. Gavino Frederico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Merexildo went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Chinguillos AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Victoriano Senon hit a great ball. Nicanor Berenguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gil's Edgard Remicio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Chinguillos AFC's Nicanor Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Tristan in the 76th minute of play. Gavino Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Senon in the 77th minute of play. Gil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Victoriano Senon scored to the left of an out of position Gavino Frederico, making the score, 2-2. After 90 minutes, Edgard Remicio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gil and the Chinguillos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgard Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Americo Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Norberto Merexildo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Chinguillos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Merexildo couldn't finish the play.
