After a defensive mix-up in Wevelgem FC's zone, Samuel Derwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor De Baere came out of the goal and Samuel Derwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When St. Patrick's Samuel Derwin in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wevelgem FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aaron Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Peers in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Samuel Derwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wevelgem FC's Viktor De Baere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Wevelgem FC defense, Cristobal Berdoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor De Baere. The Wevelgem FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor De Baere should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Cristobal Berdoi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wevelgem FC's Viktor De Baere. Viktor De Baere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Samuel Derwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The St. Patrick fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ron Gyselincx kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ismael Tauro's late challenge caught a Wevelgem FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Tauro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wevelgem FC booed when St. Patrick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Samuel Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Viktor De Baere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rdth minute of the game Samuel Derwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wevelgem FC's Viktor De Baere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Wevelgem FC's Ken Peers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Mede narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Derwin to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, St. Patrick's Samuel Derwin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Samuel Derwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Derwin had several of the Wevelgem FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Viktor De Baere as he didn't even see the shot coming. Viktor De Baere stood somewhat misplaced when Samuel Derwin came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 69 minute. With his leg Viktor De Baere managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when St. Patrick's Samuel Derwin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Wevelgem FC's Viktor De Baere got control of the ball when Eleuterio Teodor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Luk Lanfan in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by St. Patrick's Ismael Tauro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Derwin got free with Viktor De Baere in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Wevelgem FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of St. Patrick:s goal. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for St. Patrick. Tomas Osasun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Viktor De Baere. 0-10. After a rather tough play, Wevelgem FC's Luckas Goddez got a free kick in the 90th minute. Samuel Derwin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Viktor De Baere skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Samuel Derwin in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Viktor De Baere, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Samuel Derwin put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Viktor De Baere. When the final whistle sounded St. Patrick left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wevelgem FC.
