Ruperto Salomon had several of the Escuzar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Lucas Jaraba as he didn't even see the shot coming. Desiderio Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Jaraba having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the match Mel De Silva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Frederico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Desiderio Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Jaraba having to interfere. Lucas Jaraba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desiderio Tristan's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The supporters of Escuzar booed when Gil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Mel De Silva in the 54th minute really tested Gavino Frederico's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Ruperto Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Llin Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Desiderio Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Tristan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebio Rapado hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Desiderio Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Lucas Jaraba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Escuzar's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Salomon came free, but Lucas Jaraba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Tristan in the 76th minute of play forced Escuzar's goalkeeper Lucas Jaraba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Jaraba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Salomon in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Escuzar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tartalo Ucero to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Jaraba having to interfere. Desiderio Tristan took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Jaraba. Lucas Jaraba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After 92 minutes, Desiderio Tristan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gil and the Escuzar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Desiderio Tristan kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Lucas Jaraba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Salomon in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the Escuzar defense, Desiderio Tristan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Jaraba. The Escuzar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Jaraba should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gil had won after a very even match.
