Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darwin Núñez in the 26th minute of play. Armando Casomiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darwin Núñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Atlético Rovesco booed when Merengue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Romeo Malcoci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mateo Llorienzo. That made the score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play.

In the 98th match minute, Atlético Rovesco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Florio to maneuver through the defense. Armando Casomiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 100th minute. Merengue FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Atlético Rovesco had won, even though Merengue FC had held more of the ball.
