Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Mule in the 17th minute of play. Aquiles Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 麦风适 kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, FC Brink's Waldemar Mule sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bayan Gugovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Răzvan Mumuleanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bayan Gugovski having to make a save. Iulian Udrescu's late challenge caught a Merengue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Udrescu helped the player get up and apologised. Iulian Udrescu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The long shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 33rd minute really tested Pompiliu Zmărăndescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 37th minute Waldemar Mule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Gugovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Brink's Pompiliu Zmărăndescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save FC Brink from getting a goal against them. Aurelian Voinea hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, FC Brink's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Jago came free, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Herea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bayan Gugovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Brink booed when Merengue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, FC Brink's Wilfredo Otsoa got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Jerry Priest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Darwin Núñez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez. But to his dismay, Darwin Núñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Darwin Núñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, FC Brink's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Urtsin came free, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Domingo Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merengue FC made a substitution. Everardo Nerio replaced Raimundo Gonsalvo. Merengue FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aquiles Urtsin in the 69th minute. After taking down the ball on Merengue FC's corner Aquiles Urtsin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pompiliu Zmărăndescu quite easily take care of the ball. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Frances to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darwin Núñez in the 78th minute of play forced FC Brink's goalkeeper Pompiliu Zmărăndescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes FC Brink got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Balint. After having played for 93 minutes, Darwin Núñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darwin Núñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darwin Núñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
