With an all-out effort, JKs Talanger's Dan Wennerqvist threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kjell Åkesson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kjell Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Wennerqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Walter Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lano in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Roque Lauro hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Hernan Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Venceslao came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Åkesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. After some careless play in the JKs Talanger defense, Adrián Espadas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Wallander. The JKs Talanger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Wallander should have stopped the shot. Kjell Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Wennerqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match JKs Talanger got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ali Berkant Mukremin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rafael Veiga made a great header on JKs Talanger's corner, it was just that Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist managed to reach the ball for a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Åkesson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Basten in the 70th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Basten in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Necula spun around in front of the goal 77 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of JKs Talanger's goal. Răzvan Necula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Răzvan Necula scored 0-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Wallander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Arvidsson in the 96th minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
