After the first half Illinois Bluewaters were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Electric Circus FC's Jason Clayton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Electric Circus FC from getting a goal against them. Electric Circus FC's Lee Donillson got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Myles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Donillson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Danilo Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Clayton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 冯永宽 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Danilo Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Illinois Bluewaters's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
