After 16 minutes, Domenico Di Mattia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gonzo Style f.c and the Gortaty players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Domenico Di Mattia got a free kick in the 16th minute. Benedykt Siembab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Christian Pelliccioni made a huge save. Gortaty's Benedykt Siembab got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gortaty's zone, Enrico Tassotti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Kaminski came out of the goal and Enrico Tassotti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 minutes Gonzo Style f.c's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Remigiusz Laskowski who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Remigiusz Laskowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Pelliccioni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the game, Gonzo Style f.c's Fausto Tocci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kryspin Kaminski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Cezary Mosiniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Gonzo Style f.c's Enrico Tassotti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kryspin Kaminski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cezary Mosiniak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Mosiniak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Pelliccioni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kryspin Kaminski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Pompilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Kryspin Kaminski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Imperatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Cezary Mosiniak made the kick off in the second half. Gortaty's Cezary Mosiniak got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cezary Mosiniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. A long shot from Dennis Pagliarini in the 66th minute of play was well struck, but Kryspin Kaminski made a really good save at the right post. 71 minutes into the match, Cezary Mosiniak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Pelliccioni. Gonzo Style f.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Mosiniak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 75 minutes into the match, Gortaty's Benedykt Siembab sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Pelliccioni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonzo Style f.c's Christian Pelliccioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Siembab in the 79th minute of play. Remigiusz Kaczynski charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigiusz Kaczynski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Kaczynski. Claudio Pompilio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Signoretti to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Remigiusz Laskowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigiusz Laskowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
