The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tivadar Demeter made the kick off which started today's match. Kim-André van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rómeó Lukaku in the 5th minute of the match. Kim-André van der Schans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rómeó Lukaku showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Switzerland's Ferris Stock quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Attila Kiss, made in the 8th minute of the game. Switzerland's Gutierre Lauri got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Switzerland's Kim-André van der Schans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. Pál Polyák's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kim-André van der Schans firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tivadar Demeter did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Kim-André van der Schans 16 minutes into the match.
