Kjell-Arne Edström started the match with the kick off. When Vodka Stars 1949's Cosmin Mihuleac in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AsLaN 1915's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute Vodka Stars 1949 were awarded a corner. Curcio Alonso went to the cornerflag to take it. AsLaN 1915's attentive Mehmet Ali Onuker managed to snatch the ball when Remir Martínez made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell-Arne Edström. 14 minutes into the match, AsLaN 1915's Kjell-Arne Edström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Beloki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 16 minutes Vodka Stars 1949's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaffar Okkan who took care of the corner kick. In the 17th minute of the match Mehmet Ali Onuker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Generoso Beloki skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki got control of the ball when Kjell-Arne Edström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gürsel Bahçıvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Mihuleac, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 32nd minute Cosmin Mihuleac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürsel Bahçıvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Edström in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Kjell-Arne Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell-Arne Edström might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Beloki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjell-Arne Edström ran back to his position shaking his head. Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Edström in the 40th minute of play. The throw-in from Remir Martínez in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AsLaN 1915's Mehmet Ali Onuker. Kjell-Arne Edström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell-Arne Edström got free with Generoso Beloki in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Curcio Alonso to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Alifonso Irureta. Generoso Beloki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjell-Arne Edström went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vodka Stars 1949 made a substitution. Martin Batalla replaced Erik Véber. In the 58th minute of the match AsLaN 1915 got a corner. Vodka Stars 1949's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaffar Okkan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gaffar Okkan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki did a great save. 60 minutes into the match, AsLaN 1915's goalkeeper Gürsel Bahçıvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosmin Mihuleac. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curcio Alonso got free with Gürsel Bahçıvan in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When AsLaN 1915's Kjell-Arne Edström in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mehmet Ali Onuker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Beloki having to interfere. Generoso Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Edström in the 75th minute of the match. Generoso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Edström in the 81st minute of play. If Mehmet Ali Onuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürsel Bahçıvan came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Vodka Stars 1949's Martin Batalla. But to his dismay, Martin Batalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Kjell-Arne Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot. AsLaN 1915's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Edström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Beloki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Kjell-Arne Edström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vodka Stars 1949 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AsLaN 1915.
