Peter Cernan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Hermínio Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the game, Angelo Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LULU TRICOLOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grupo Informatico the free kick. In the 10th minute, Angelo Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, LULU TRICOLOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umut Usum to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Lorencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Peter Cernan made a huge save. Leandro Quintun hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. LULU TRICOLOR's Peter Cernan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save LULU TRICOLOR from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Grupo Informatico's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Miranda came free, but Lisandro Ihintza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of LULU TRICOLOR booed when Grupo Informatico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Pedro Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lisandro Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes LULU TRICOLOR got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Paes. In the 39th minute, José Pedro Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Ihintza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Lorencio got free with Peter Cernan in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when José Pedro Miranda in the 46th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Pedro Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, LULU TRICOLOR's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Lorencio came free, but Peter Cernan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidnei Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Evaristo Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grupo Informatico's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Cernan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Pedro Miranda got free with Lisandro Ihintza in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Grupo Informatico's Evaristo Brion got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Grupo Informatico's zone, José Pedro Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ihintza came out of the goal and José Pedro Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, LULU TRICOLOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Ihintza made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Pedro Miranda in the 65th minute. Lisandro Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Félix in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Evaristo Brion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grupo Informatico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Grupo Informatico made a substitution. Raul Teofilio replaced Evaristo Brion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Félix in the 77th minute of play forced Grupo Informatico's goalkeeper Lisandro Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Cernan having to interfere. Grupo Informatico's Lisandro Ihintza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Grupo Informatico from getting a goal against them. Peter Cernan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Edgard Lorencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Cernan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Grupo Informatico got a freekick which was hit by Raul Teofilio.
