A wasted opportunity for Slavia Skattungbyn. 13 minutes into the game, Stig Askstedt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anselmo Dunixi. Stig Askstedt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Gölle EAC's Christian Capuozzi got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Tosh Burns came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gölle EAC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tosh Burns couldn't finish the play. Slavia Skattungbyn's Birger Hedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Núñez in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Slavia Skattungbyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Cane to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Kullander in the 27th minute of the match. Christian Capuozzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Birger Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Rydberg hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute László Tihanyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Hedman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Hedman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Capuozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Slavia Skattungbyn got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Heggert. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Rydberg to make the kick off. Andreas Seiller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Kullander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Dunixi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Ákos Murai hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gölle EAC's Anselmo Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Seiller in the 61st minute of play. Anselmo Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Kullander, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Slavia Skattungbyn got a freekick which was hit by Roy Cane. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Capuozzi got free with Birger Hedman in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Birger Hedman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Tihanyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slavia Skattungbyn's Birger Hedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Slavia Skattungbyn from getting a goal against them. In the last second Birger Hedman throw himself and got hold of the ball when László Tihanyi in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 72 minutes, László Tihanyi made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Slavia Skattungbyn's Birger Hedman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Slavia Skattungbyn's Birger Hedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Tihanyi in the 84th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Slavia Skattungbyn got a freekick which was hit by Joel Löfgren. Jörgen Rydberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Dunixi having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Gölle EAC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
