The audience thought a goal was coming when Quilo Lujarra got free with Waldemar Dzerwucki in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19thth minute of the game Quilo Lujarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Domicilio's Waldemar Dzerwucki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldinho Picavea made a kick off. After taking down the ball on Domicilio's corner Alfredo Gamboa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelio Astudillo quite easily take care of the ball. Laerte Antuness short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Aurelio Astudillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Laerte Antunes had several of the San Lorenzo 11's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Aurelio Astudillo as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 76 minutes, Quilo Lujarra made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. But to his dismay, Quilo Lujarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Waldemar Dzerwucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quilo Lujarra in the 88th minute of play. Hudson Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilo Lujarra took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Dzerwucki. Waldemar Dzerwucki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Waldemar Dzerwucki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quilo Lujarra's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. San Lorenzo 11's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
