The audience thought a goal was coming when Co Wielaert got free with Tord Forsberg in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Stefan Strömbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sébastien Marionneau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Joar Valrot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sébastien Marionneau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 minutes, Borys Witwicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astral Roots Gdynia and the Huaröd players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The crowd rose to their feet as Huaröd's Thor Smitt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sébastien Marionneau. That made the score 1-6 after 85 minutes of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Inge Salkvist put in a rough tackle. 90 minutes into the game, one of Huaröd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Astral Roots Gdynia a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zygmunt Moizuk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Huaröd's Tord Forsberg. 2-6.
