Thanks to some nice moves Eustacio Rufo could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Jarbas Marques however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to União Agrícola Barbarense getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Francisco Bezerra hit a great ball. With a little luck, União Agrícola Barbarense's Jarbas Marques got control of the ball when Eustacio Rufo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Marques having to interfere. If Carlos Fernando Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cafu Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Del Santo FC's Eustacio Rufo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jarbas Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Valadares. In the 34th match minute, Del Santo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Lico to maneuver through the defense. Jarbas Marques was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelo Mendebal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. When Laerte Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Luciano Eleder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Valadares in the 44th minute of the match. The corner led União Agrícola Barbarense's Vladimir Valadares to fire away a dangerous shot which Luciano Eleder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Israel Oliviero came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Del Santo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Oliviero couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Fernando Corrêa made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Del Santo FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Leonell. 56 minutes into the game, Angelo Mendebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Del Santo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União Agrícola Barbarense the free kick. Jarbas Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Rufo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarbas Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Oliviero in the 73rd minute of play forced União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Jarbas Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A beautiful save bye União Agrícola Barbarense's goalie prevented a goal. Del Santo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
