Mugur Tăbăcaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miroslav Krištof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Negrescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nebojša Bombis took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mugur Tăbăcaru. Mugur Tăbăcaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half Pekárová rodinka were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Damián Vykydal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Mugur Tăbăcaru made a huge save. Pardina's Mugur Tăbăcaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Pardina from getting a goal against them. In the 61st match minute, Pardina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Nicoliță to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Tăbăcaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nebojša Bombis in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute Zlatko Balcar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Tăbăcaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Robert Stoica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pardina and the Pekárová rodinka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pekárová rodinka's supporters rose to their feet, but Nebojša Bombis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Tăbăcaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pekárová rodinka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
