Roque Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Ödman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Noah Leverenz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clube Atlético Paulista protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Noah Leverenz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 37th minute, one of Clube Atlético Paulista:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clube Atlético Paulista. Aden Couzens had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Mauricio Nuno's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Clube Atlético Paulista's Saul Mambru in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachilo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Roque Dorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus Nørbom in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Marcelino Arano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aden Couzens. Clube Atlético Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Arano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Mambru was the one to do the kick off. Cachilo FC's Roque Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaus Nørbom in the 58th minute of play.
