David Matthew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chen Shi Ran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Penuel Football Club from getting a goal against them. Huarriors AFC's David Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Miguel in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Silvano Arano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Epifanio Gabrio, 2-0. In the 38th minute Silvano Arano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Huarriors AFC got a corner. Penuel Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carl Cassilly ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Silvano Arano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio did a great save. Epifanio Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Arano in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Alejandro Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Matthew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Shi Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eduardo Pires made the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Arano in the 77th minute of play. Result 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
