The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iruinea Llordes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Bengt-Rune Widberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Bengt-Rune Widberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cup2's Eliseo Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iruinea Llordes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Fohat Neyen's Iruinea Llordes to fire away a dangerous shot which Eliseo Moreno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bengt-Rune Widberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fohat Neyen's Iruinea Llordes suffered a sore thigh after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Fohat Neyen made a substitution. Guilherme Olivieri replaced Iruinea Llordes. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Aleandro Ortiz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Iraido Bertiz made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Dimcho Fuskov sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Fohat Neyen's Iraido Bertiz got control of the ball when Krzysztof Skoroda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bengt-Rune Widberg scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseo Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Widberg's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Cup2's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Widberg came free, but Eliseo Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Rune Widberg in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Moreno saved Cup2 from getting behind. If Guilherme Olivieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Rune Widberg made a kick off. If Denis Schnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Bengt-Rune Widberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Skoroda in the 61st minute of play forced Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Iraido Bertiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iraido Bertiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Téo Mello went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With his leg Eliseo Moreno managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Fohat Neyen's Bengt-Rune Widberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Widberg in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Schnell in the 73rd minute of the match. Krzysztof Skoroda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimcho Fuskov in the 79th minute of play forced Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Iraido Bertiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute of the game Qi Yi made a throw-in which Clemente Tome played forward. When Fohat Neyen's Bengt-Rune Widberg in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cup2's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 minutes Cup2's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denis Schnell who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Denis Schnell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cup2's Eliseo Moreno did a great save. Bengt-Rune Widberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Moreno having to interfere. The supporters of Cup2 booed when Fohat Neyen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesco Alaniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Bengt-Rune Widberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fohat Neyen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
