The FC Momlinho fans' excitement grew in the 49th match minute when FC Momlinho's Stefan Gniewek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jardel Beaton to make the kick off. Thor Törnblom was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Şaban Yurdaşen's late challenge caught a FC Momlinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The FC Momlinho supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Momlinho would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
