Spectators: 775 (Terracing: 582, Seating: 178, VIP seats: 15) American Top Team's Robert Sands started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eloy Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Ashby having to interfere. Shawn Ashby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Belarmo went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eddy Simons hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Milan Melton. If Humberto Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shawn Ashby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Telmo in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Eloy Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Ashby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Belarmo in the 20th minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Shawn Ashby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shawn Ashby came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FMArgentina's Nicolas Telmo. But to his dismay, Nicolas Telmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Paolo Herensuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Bernad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Sands's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Eloy Alvarez notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of American Top Team's Shawn Ashby. Shawn Ashby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Eloy Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Ashby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Gombal in the 33rd minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Shawn Ashby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Alvarez came free, but Shawn Ashby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Nicolas Telmo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Shawn Ashby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shawn Ashby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Belarmo in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Simons. In the 46th minute Eloy Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Ashby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Alvarez made a kick off. Eddy Simons hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. With a little luck, American Top Team's Shawn Ashby got control of the ball when Eloy Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shawn Ashby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Alvarez in the 53rd minute. After 57 minutes, Stanley Houston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the American Top Team and the FMArgentina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in American Top Team's zone, Cipriano Belarmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn Ashby came out of the goal and Cipriano Belarmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Short kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Milan Melton hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, FMArgentina's Eloy Alvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shawn Ashby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Paolo Herensuge sped through American Top Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Shawn Ashby. In the 74th minute, Eloy Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Shawn Ashby. American Top Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. 77 minutes into the match, Nicolas Telmo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Shawn Ashby, 0-10. Stanley Houston hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Shawn Ashby made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Humberto Cisco sent off a good shot on target. Shawn Ashby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Belarmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shawn Ashby was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. American Top Team's Shawn Ashby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Belarmo in the 91st minute of play. Cipriano Belarmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Shawn Ashby made a huge save. Eloy Alvarez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Shawn Ashby firmly grabbed it by the left post. FMArgentina's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
