In the 19th minute Baba Ba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenz Ureta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Arne Botnen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Cantona to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner led Saga TF's Ola Nordhagen to fire away a dangerous shot which Lorenz Ureta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Arne Botnen advanced and headed the ball into goal, 9-2 in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Saga TF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
