SE Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Niculae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oswaldo Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 71stth minute of the game Marius Niculae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Marius Niculae notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena. Nilson Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ACe Aimaro Juniors made a substitution.
