With a little luck, Hawk Tuah FC's Holer Nolan got control of the ball when Edmond Boureau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markus Vik in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustão de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Hawk Tuah FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Hawk Tuah FC's Markus Vik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 14 played minutes Ciseski‘s got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Silvar. Aírton Cearense hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Holer Nolan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Recife. After 22 played minutes Hawk Tuah FC got a freekick which was hit by Big Dickey. Holer Nolan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Edmond Boureau sent off a good shot on target. Faustão de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Gulliksson in the 26th minute of play. Hubert Ahlquist struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Faustão de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawk Tuah FC. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Roberto Romário took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Holer Nolan to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th minute Big Dickey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Big Dickey in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Ciseski‘s's goal looked a bit too open when Big Dickey came free, but Faustão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ciseski‘s getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hernani Palmeira hit a great ball. Stig Gulliksson took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustão de Moraes. Faustão de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Big Dickey was the one to do the kick off. Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Big Dickey in the 54th minute of play. Hawk Tuah FC's Holer Nolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Romário in the 55th minute of play. When Dé Recife fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciseski‘s's protests and gave Dé Recife a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hawk Tuah FC booed when Ciseski‘s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hawk Tuah FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Hawk Tuah FC's Big Dickey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Edmond Boureau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hawk Tuah FC made a substitution. Marcial Montrell replaced Stig Gulliksson. Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ciseski‘s from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Montrell in the 79th minute of play forced Ciseski‘s's goalkeeper Faustão de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Boureau, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Faustão de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Big Dickey in the 81st minute of play. Faustão de Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Montrell in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Montrell got free with Faustão de Moraes in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Hawk Tuah FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hawk Tuah FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
