The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, ARON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Eladio came free, but Luís Fabiano Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's Gustavo Eladio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Fabiano Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute Sebastião Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Rosa came free, but Martin Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Gustavo Eladio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Rito made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Oséas Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Jorginho Mattos made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ennu Roosileht immediately put the ball in play. Sebastião Xavier came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Martin Rito could save by the left post. Sebastião Xavier succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 22nd playminute. Sebastião Xavier struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Martin Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARON FC. After 28 minutes, Edu Proença made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. C. A. BELGRANO's Martin Rito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 minutes ARON FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amancio Pinto who took care of the corner kick. Martin Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Xavier in the 35th minute of play. C. A. BELGRANO's Martin Rito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. BELGRANO from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Eladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Fabiano Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Eladio ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Fabiano Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Eladio in the 38th minute of play. Martin Rito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Proença in the 43rd minute. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARON FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amancio Pinto was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. BELGRANO's players had a chance to rest. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastião Xavier made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Sebastião Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Eladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ARON FC's Manuel Bueno was substituted for Sebastião Xavier. C. A. BELGRANO's Jaime Alfonso was substituted for Adolfo Guib. C. A. BELGRANO made a substitution. Nunez Noe replaced Silvio Valerio. With a little luck, ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz got control of the ball when Onur Ali Cespan tried to sneak it across the goal line. ARON FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Onur Ali Cespan scored to the left of an out of position Luís Fabiano Vaz, making the score, 3-1. In the 80th minute Edu Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Bueno in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Manuel Bueno made a precise shot to the right of Martin Rito. C. A. BELGRANO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. In the 89th play minute Onur Ali Cespan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís Fabiano Vaz. 4-4. 93 minutes into the match, ARON FC's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Vaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Onur Ali Cespan. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ARON FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while C. A. BELGRANO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
