The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Dewulf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Houwing in the 4th minute of play. Raymond Schouten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Dewulf having to interfere. Kostas Milonas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, 盛世 高文竞 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Dewulf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Waldos's David Dewulf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 26th minute of play. Prudencio Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ciccio Tacconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 30th minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper David Dewulf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Moermans hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, 盛世 高文竞 notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Waldos's David Dewulf. David Dewulf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the game, Kostas Milonas threw the ball into play from the sideline. NFC Eagles 22's Raymond Schouten quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The The Waldos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NFC Eagles 22 were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 盛世 高文竞 to make the kick off. Ciccio Tacconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Ştefănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Prudencio Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Tacconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marin Ştefănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Tacconi having to interfere. The Waldos's Fidel Erdiano was substituted for Kostas Milonas. In the 75th minute, Ron Moermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Waldos made a substitution. Leandro Millrick replaced Marin Ştefănescu. NFC Eagles 22's Jeroen Heerckes was substituted for Emil Houwing. In the 76th match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Moermans to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Isias ran back to his position shaking his head. Niels-Jan Reiling hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Joeri Donderwinkel. A collision led to The Waldos getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Agustin Distiratsu hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. NFC Eagles 22 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
