The audience was convinced that Fabinho Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomás Proença was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cutberto Clemente was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho Pernambucano in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cutberto Clemente struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nico Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maricá FC. Fabinho Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Thomás Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Encanto's Fabinho Pernambucano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomás Proença narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fabinho Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomás Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Pernambucano in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Travassos in the 82nd minute of play forced Maricá FC's goalkeeper Thomás Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Maricá FC's Paulo Renato Rosado got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Maricá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Maricá FC's Thomás Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Pernambucano in the 94th minute of play. Tomé Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Fabinho Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomás Proença was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. There was no doubt that Encanto were the better team. Encanto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
