After 15 played minutes Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Lopes. In the 17th minute, Joachim Van Der Meren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Keikoppers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's José de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel Van Den Broek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lionel Van Den Broek was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and José de Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of De Keikoppers's goalie and right to Erivaldo Maia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. De Keikoppers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 30 minutes into the game, De Keikoppers's Rolf Huveneers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Eduardo Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Geert Smidts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Garcia having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José de Queirós in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lionel Van Den Broek saved De Keikoppers from getting behind. José de Queirós in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lionel Van Den Broek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 40 minutes into the game, De Keikoppers's Rolf Huveneers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Eduardo Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. José de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Lionel Van Den Broek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guadalupe FC - CIMZ. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the De Keikoppers defense, Rasgun Cool kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lionel Van Den Broek. The De Keikoppers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lionel Van Den Broek should have stopped the shot. In the 56th match minute, De Keikoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wout Leroy to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Guadalupe FC - CIMZ booed when De Keikoppers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wout Leroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rasgun Cool blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Van Den Broek having to make a save. Lionel Van Den Broek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasgun Cool, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasgun Cool in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lionel Van Den Broek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sem De Kelper came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the De Keikoppers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sem De Kelper couldn't finish the play. Luís Eduardo Garcia was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Sem De Kelper capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sem De Kelper really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Van Der Meren in the 75th minute of play forced Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Eduardo Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Huveneers in the 77th minute of the match. Lionel Van Den Broek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasgun Cool's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Rasgun Cool who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Keikoppers's Lionel Van Den Broek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sem De Kelper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Luís Eduardo Garcia made a huge save. Luís Eduardo Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Huveneers in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Joachim Van Der Meren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Van Der Meren came free, but Luís Eduardo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kanu Grosso's late challenge caught a De Keikoppers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kanu Grosso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Kanu Grosso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
